Bob is a seasoned professional with over 15 years upper level management experience in the hospitality industry. Previous experience includes having managed and operated a housekeeping services company providing related services to the vacation resort industry. He most recently hails from the Williamsburg, VA. area before relocating to South Carolina to join Sun Hospitality.

David Fries co-founded Sun Hospitality Resort Services in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2004, after serving thirteen years as the Operations Officer and Executive Vice President for one of the largest HOA controlled vacation resort management companies in the east. David began serving the hospitality industry in line and middle management positions in hotels and restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area, in Orlando, and in Miami. David spent 16 years in upper management positions in Miami, Atlanta, Savannah, Rocky Mount (Raleigh, North Carolina area), Washington, D.C., and Myrtle Beach, providing extensive operational experience in the hotel and resort industry.
David previously served as Vice Chairman of the ARDA Resort Management Committee, is a member of the Executive Council of ARDA-ROC (Resort Owners Coalition), Vice Chairman of ARDA-Carolinas, and Membership Committee Chairman of the Grand Strand Golf Directors Association.
Current and recent affiliations include the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, Myrtle Beach Hotel & Motel Association, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Jon is a seasoned sales executive with over 25 years of experience in driving growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional results. Having grown up along the Grand Strand, he brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality and property management industry.
Ty Reuber
Vice President of Sales & Quality Assurance
Ty oversees the implementation, execution, and auditing of Sun Hospitality’s industry leading quality standards throughout the country, as well as, managing Sun’s nationwide business development strategies for both new and existing clients. Ty joined the Sun Team in 2008 and has since served in several key positions for the company’s Executive Team over the last 7 years.
Prior to Sun, Ty studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Dayton. He then launched his career after moving to Myrtle Beach in 1980 and starting several successful companies along the Grand Strand. For more than 25 years, Ty served as President and Chief Operations Officer of both R & F Management Inc. and MIGARDE Inc. having won several industry awards and building deep, impactful, lasting relationships within the community.
